Michael Francis Vesey (June 22, 1969 - February 22, 2022)
Michael Vesey, 52 of the Hudson Valley and formerly Scarsdale, New York, died February 22, 2022.
Born in Yonkers, NY, on June 22 1969 to the parents of Edward and Kathleen (shackel) Vesey. Michael attended many schools growing up and then settled at John Jay High School where he graduated. Michael worked for the #279, a carpentry group located in orange county.
Michael was a passionate sports fan who loved cheering on his favorite teams, the New York Yankees, New York Rangers, and New York Giants. He had the gift of gab, a love for cooking, and a generous spirit, often sharing scratch off tickets with friends and family to make others smile.
He is survived by his loving parents, Edward and Kathleen; his devoted siblings, Kevin Vesey (Geriann), Karin Scrocca (John), Joseph Vesey (Daniel), and Kathleen Lynch (Christopher); and his cherished nieces and nephews, Julia, Jake, Joseph, Taylor, Madison, Christopher, Lily, Mason, and Landon. He is also remembered fondly by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday February 27th 2022, from 2-6pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday February 21st, 2022 at 10am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Valhalla.
